Lelliotts Sunblinds Ltd are one the oldest blind retailers in the country. Established in 1881, we are proud to celebrate over 136 years of trading in West Sussex, and continually strive to deliver exceptional service and products to our esteemed clients.
When Joseph H. Lelliott
started his family business making blinds
in 1881, he could never have dreamt how successful - and how different - it would be 130 years later. In those days, materials for blinds, such as cotton canvas and ironwork (forged by the local blacksmith) had to be transported by trades bike or wheelbarrow. At that time, the business was situated in Chatsworth Road, Worthing, West Sussex and was principally concerned with the manufacture of shop awnings.
Then, as now, work of a traditionally
high quality was part of Lelliotts’ promise and philosophy which still holds today.
In 1964, the Guildbourne Centre was built and re-development of the area saw Lelliotts move
to Broadwater Road until 1995, when Lelliotts moved to Broadwater Business Park. In 2007, Lelliotts relocated its premier showroom to 80 Sompting Road, Worthing.
The company is owned and managed by Angela Dean. Whilst maintaining the traditional values of a local company, Lelliotts Sunblinds Ltd remains at the forefront of modern manufacturing methods producing both the latest fashionable designs and the classical styles for all types of blinds, awnings, canopies and roller garage doors.
